The Public Defender has an easy to use website listing multiple options to reduce a felony to a misdemeanor per Penal Code section 17(b), juvenile record sealing, and expunging misdemeanor convictions. The benefits are listed here and are not difficult to obtain if you do not have pending charges, and completed probation successfully.
